Curtis spent 20 years in the military, taking on various leadership roles and working across a wide range of operational platforms. Over the course of his service, he received numerous campaign and service medals, along with 12 personal achievement medals. After retiring, he transitioned into leadership positions working 20 years in defense, the private sector, and academia. The oversaw multiple federal and defense grants, helping minority, women, and veteran owned businesses, of all sizes that drove billions of dollars in economic growth.
For the past 33 years, Curtis and his wife of 35 years, Juliet Esteban Mohler, have served in five different churches, taking on all kinds of ministry roles-from leading worship and caring for church facilities to working with kids, teens, leading home groups and adult Sunday school classes, creating curricula, organizing systems, and welcoming and supporting foreign missionaries. Curtis has also trained men for the ministry, mentoring them, guiding them through ordination, and sharing his gift of preaching in various churches
Curtis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Occupational Education and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from Wayland Baptist University (WBU). He is a licensed minister, and ordained Deacon and Pastor, as well as a member of the San Antonio Baptist Association (SABA), and (Pastor Strong).

Bob McMahan has been a minister of music and song leader for many years in the Lord. Bob faithfully leads the congregation of Calvary Baptist Church signing traditional hymns that support the Gospel message and "exalt the Savior" in Praise and Worship.

Teressa Smith
Teressa brings the talents God has given her and serves the Lord at Calvary Baptist as the church pianist. While not playing the piano at the church, she stays quite active running two businesses to managing her Garden Center, The Front Yard, while also working part-time at Van Houten Medical Company.

Danny is a local businessman who uses his skill and knowledge to operate the audio and video equipment used in the worship services.
